General Summary:

The Cyber Analyst performs system monitoring and analysis support for the detection of cyber incidents and provides recommendations on how to correct findings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides recommendations to protect networks, workstations, servers, and IT assets.
• Performs system reviews for credentialed ACAS scans.
• Reviews and provides guidance for ESS product standards.
• Tracks and provides inputs for Cyber Task Orders (CTOs).
• Develops, populates, and updates compliance matrices for the ISSM and LCC teams.
• Utilizes ESS, Security Center/ACAS, SCAP, and STIG viewing tools for continuous monitoring and system compliance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 related certifications may be used in place of related academic field
• 4-7 years of work related experience
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification required
• US Citizenship Required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance 
• Candidate must be self-motivated and a constant learner
• Strong knowledge of information technology fundamentals
• Ability to obtain DoD approved CSSP Analyst certification and Computing Environment certificate within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of DoD Secret Clearance
• Working knowledge of vulnerability scanning and endpoint security products
