VIKTech has an immediate opening for a Penetration Tester to support our Financial Banking Industry.


Candidates must have actual penetration testing experience.

VIKTech provides comprehensive penetration testing and IT security assessments in the banking and financial industry.
Security Engineer

The Penetration Tester provides security assessment services to customers.

Responsibilities:

The Penetration Tester performs one or more of our services, including:
 
  • External Network Security Assessments
  • Internal Network Security Assessments
  • Web Application Security Assessments
  • Interface with high-profile clients.

After performing the assessment, the engineer is responsible for risk-rating these findings and compiling them into a comprehensive, well-written report delivered to the client in a timely manner according to project schedule.


Qualifications:
 
  • 5+ years of experience with layer 2 and layer 3 networking and at least one area of strong technical experience in: network engineering, system administration, application development, or database administration.
  • Experience with Nessus, Metasploit and Nmap software required.
  • Professionalism, problem solving, customer facing and handling skills, time management, written and verbal communication, presentation skills, active listening, flexibility.
  • Comfortable with compiling and running tools in various environments.
  • Must have operational knowledge of information technology infrastructure, various operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VoIP, Wireless).
  • Working knowledge of Windows networks and IT environments in mid to large-sized organizations.
  • Ability to think holistically and identify areas of technical and non-technical risk.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous and/or undefined situations.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of assessment processes and practices.
  • OSCP/OSCE and/or CISSP is a plus, although not required.
  • Work from Home Office or Remote location
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time required.
